Why This Guide Matters to Ohio Communities
TourismOhio research shows that one in four people visiting friends or relatives in Ohio never leave the house. That means missed opportunities to explore local communities—and missed business for local shops, restaurants, and attractions. The good news: even adding one or two activities can significantly improve the overall visitor experience. “Events like these bring energy into our communities,” said Lydia Mihalik, Director of the Ohio Department of Development. “They create opportunities for small businesses, bring people into our downtowns, and help drive long-term economic growth."
