Applications are now open for the 2027 Tourism Assistance Grant Program, offering up to $5,000 for eligible tourism-related events and projects in Fayette County.
Fayette County Travel & Tourism Bureau is now accepting applications for the 2027 Tourism Assistance Grant (TAG) Program, which provides funding to support nonprofit and community organizations with tourism-related events and projects in Fayette County.
To be eligible for funding, an event or project must take place within Fayette County during 2027 and demonstrate the potential to increase tourism and recreation in the county. Applicants must also show organizational stability and community support, demonstrate public awareness and promotional efforts, and provide evidence of efforts to raise funds and secure additional support. The maximum grant amount is $5,000 per event or project.
Tourism Assistance Grants are reimbursement-based grants. Recipients must pay expenses upfront and submit receipts and supporting documentation to the Bureau for reimbursement
Applications are due by 4:00 p.m. on November 23, 2026, and will be reviewed by the Fayette County Travel & Tourism Board of Directors. Applicants will be notified of funding decisions by December 31, 2026.
